Eileen's Story

I was 16 when I graduated in '74. Before I left I took a computer class and the teacher was putting money together for Microsoft stock. I put $30 in. Does anybody else remember that? Wonder what its worth today! Anyway, I went to Wyoming and married my older brothers college roommate. A little over a year later my son was born in a teepee in northern California (the hippi days!) after and I went to Idaho to work for the state for two years before moving to San Diego where I've been ever since. I worked and continued my education as a Psychiatric nurse and then started a picture framing and art restoration business that I still own today. My son is in the Coast Guard and is making chief this year. He's married and stationed in Sitka Alaska with my four grand children.
