Felipe Flip's Story

Let me begin by first saying that my name is Felipe but most of you knew me as Flip. I'm here looking to take back my kick ass friends that I made during my Elementary, Jr.and High Schools days. Starting with 135th Street, 153rd Street, Peary Jr. High and Gage Middle School, followed by Gardena High, Moneta High, Wilmington High, Carson High, Locke High, Huntington Park High, Bell High and last but not least, South Gate High School. In my last year of school I made my return to Gardena High School only to decide to leave my graduating class of '87 three months before my graduation date in pursuit of that G.E.D.. What a dope I was! Basically, the only thing that I got out of attending school was getting laid, drunk, smoked out, phone numbers, hicky's and lots of trouble. How and why I did that is still a question that I have not been able to answer. Addiction isn't very helpful but that came shortly after my school days. I made my way through every abandoned house and ditch party that I can possibly attend and made it rule to be with as many girls that I could possibly be with. Comparing stats as though it was a sport. Karma... has definately caught up to me and boy oh boy... was I ever wrong in doing so. The drama that I went through in getting up real early in the morning and jumping on that bus to make it on time was just to see my friends and hang out. Although I look down on my decisions, choices and bad judgement, the friends that I made was all worth it. Unfortunately, as I made those choices in life... I hurt some of you in ways that I could never repair or give back but for what it's worth, I'd like to take this opportunity to publicly apologize to you now. I was young and naive but that wasn't an excuse to be the ass that I was. In the end, I can assure you that, I've paid my dues and have gotten to experience some of the hurtful things and feelings that I once dished out. As sensitive as this may be for some of you, I just want to say that, I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart. Time changes people and people ...Expand for more
change minds, minds change often which often changes us. Some of you are married, some have children, some don't, some are divorced, some single, some are rich, some poor, some are happy, some sad, some are alive and doing well, some are sick in health as well as sick of life but nothing changes more, than the death of a loved one. Except of coarse, the death of another. My respects goes out to my former classmates and their late family members that are now deceased. To those whom have fallen and couldn't get back up on their own two feet. For those that took a bullet or a rap sheet for someone whom is currently living life on the outs, enjoying a picnic with their family while the innocent one is living behind bars for the rest of his life as his family struggles to pay the rent and put food on the table. I pray for you, your family and all of our friends. Now that the formalities are over and done with... let's get down to the nitty gritty of business and state my true intentions and why I signed up for classmates.com. I want my old buddies back and I want them now! If you got a phone, pick it up and let's hook up for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks. I'd nothing more than to socialize and catch up with all of you. I'm down for whatever as long as it doesn't have drugs to do with. I'm straight and I'm high on life now. Ya estuvo con esos dias, I graduated with honors in that department and I have nothing to show for it but wasted days and wasted nights... In other words, I've grown up and have learned from my mistakes. If you can respect that, then it's apparent that time hasn't changed the fact that you and I are still friends. The only change that perhaps will take place between us and our friendship now, is the fact that this time... we're going to keep in touch and not distant ourselves from one another ever again. P.S. By the way... does anybody know that chick over there on the lower left corner of this web page? Over where it says, "Staff Memories" Suzanne's Favorites... she's cute! Yo' Suzanne... Add Me! LMAO!
