More about Florence:"I'm a committed Christian...love God and desire to have Him first in my life. I attend a tiny church (Eagle's Nest) where I lead Praise and Worship. I've never wanted to be out front -- love being in the background as a singer, worker, etc. -- but when God opened this door, I knew it was the time for me to move out. I've loved watching God bring our Praise and Worship Team together and am trusting Him for even more in the next months and years.
I love people -- am an encourager. I usually can find the best in a situation.
I find it interesting that I am single. I never thought I would be my age and never married but am so confident in my Go...Expand for more

I love to travel -- have been to every state except Alaska and have been to most several times. I prefer driving (I know, that's wierd) but will fly when I have to. Some of my favorite trips...
Colorado (always love the mountains)
A trip I took with friends to Maine in the fall (the leaves were gorgeous and it was fun to be a "leaf peeper")
A trip I took with my Dad to England where I saw places from my mother's life (she was born in England) and I met her family members that I had never met
Another trip I took with my Dad right after my mother's death (we were going to go to Colorado for a long weekend and ended up going all the way to the west coast and being gone for three weeks). In the midst of dealing with the loss of my mother, the trip was a precious healing time
Trips to Hawaii are always a blast.
And a trip I was given by friends was a life changing time. They had a week at a timeshare that they would not be able to use and called and asked if I wanted it. I couldn't find ANYONE who could go with me so almost declined. But, when I prayed about it, I knew I was to go. It turned out to be a very special week...much rest...much quiet time with God...no one else to accommodate...just a week to spend in prayer, reading, and worship. It was absolutely wonderful.".
