Forrest's Story

HAD TO GO AND EDIT MY WRITING SO YA'LL COULD READ IT (my content was block) all you oh so sensitive people need to look back in history and the bible to see what's com'n down next, Life The life of a helicopter migrant worker, and yes life does happen inspite of our best efforts. More to come when time permits. It's cold and rainy today, added a few more pic's. Snowing in Fort Worth and Dallas, glad to see there's more of ya'll taking a look, so I'm taking some time to add to whatever this is called. As the ROTOR TURNS THE CONTINUEING SAGA OF A HELICOPTER MIGRANT WORKER. Recent travels Macon Georgia, San Diego, Ca., Reno Nv., Fire, Law Enforcement, Home Land Security, Fort Worth Tx. R&D work. Linda Rose just bought a tractor for our place, she's now the KubotoKow Girl (she rides a Kawasaki Voyager, the acronym for Kawasaki is Kow), guess I'll go back and put that pick in too. Go'n to Mexico this fall for bike ride'n, fun and sun. Gotta colonoscopy three weeks ago first one (I was a virgin till then) I want everyone to know that I'm a perfect Rectum (A-Hole is what I wanted to write, butt these days folks seem to be oh so sensitive). If ya'll would like to see more pic's let me know. I'll write more soon. Well, it's tax day and I'm back, good to see folks taking a look see. It's ironic that in this day and age of instant and mass communications, we seem to communicate less. Just finished a letter to some relation of mine, not sure where in the family tree she is hanging, the letter was regarding a family reunion this summer. Speaking of reunions are we going to ever put one together, the last one I attended was great, Tommy and Able and all the others did a great job. I have mixed feelings and memories of high school, I miss my Mustang, and that's about it, kinda sad I guess, though Flagstaff was a great place to grow up and I did have alot of good times. Getting drafted really changed my out look on life and where I thought I was going, between my folks and high school I had what I needed to do damn well, wish I knew then what I know now and I'd had a hell of a good time in high school. I don't know if I'm anymore manure, I mean mature, but I'm sure as hell wiser. Looking forward to the weekend heading to a bike rally first one this year, and the weather should be great, WARM. Just had a thought at the last HS reunion somebody suggested I see Dr. Phill, well after reading my ramblings, maybe I should, can any body get me an appiontment? Vaya Con Dios amigos until next time. The Bikers for Bikers rally was great, I'll get some pics on the board soon, there on the other puter, this rally is not some commercial deal, it' what bike rallies are met to be camping, bike games, visiting, laughing, partying, and none of the BS folks from all walks of life just ride'n and hang'n together. Twisted the dodo outa my bad knee danc'n with Butch, must been to heels I was wear'n, I'm laugh'n at what ya'll are think'n, well keep on think'n about it. Just got back from Prescott, and my son's fifth grade field / camping trip. What a hoot taking 120+ 10 and 11 year olds camping, we had a great time. Messed my knee up agian playing basket ball, I was driving to the basket 1 on 5 me and 5 fifth graders, went for the spin move to take a shot, knee went out and I hit the floor like a sack of dodo(I mean mature). Never was worth a dodo at B-ball anyway. Picked up the gate for Graceland (property up by Waco) it's great, Linda Rose is a true Elvis fan, Elvis lives, will get a pic of that too. I'll write agian soon, remember today is the first day of the rest of your life, don't screw it up. Hey, tired of wait'n to hear more ramblings, David D. and Robin have been in touch, and that's good. Forrest is spending the summer, that's good he's caught some really nice Bass over the last three weeks. I've been able to work from home and spend more time with the little guy. Looks good for me spending the summer at home, won't be back on the road till September, then off to Colorado for high altitude helicopter testing, hopefully Linda Rose and I can take the Bikes and get some riding in, not just to and from. it's dryer than a popcorn fart in Texas, need to get some steady rain going, If that doesn't happen soon I'm go'n to have to do my famous rain dance, the last time I did it the nieghbors had to go into therapy (don't know how to spell...Expand for more
very well). See ya. As the ROTOR TURNS the continueing saga of the Helicopter Migrant worker. Just returned from Big Bend National Park's annual motorcycle rally Ride for Trails, had a great time. It was a wonderful break from cleaning up after Hurricane IKE. The Graceland Gate is up and looks good. Forrest and Clara are doing terrible in school, can't seem to get them to focus, curse the video game folks, all video games should be educational all the subjects, instead of mindless clutter. Linda Rose and I took the boys (2 grandsons Trey&Timmy and Forrest)to the Grand Canyon, south and north rims, and Bryce canyon this summer we had a marvelous time. Linda Rose and I are off to Mexico on Sunday for 4 days, we'll have a new El Presidente by then. BE SURE TO VOTE if you don't no whining. This is certainly a historic election, what a mixed bag. Remember down the road WALL STREET and the DOW are just gambling casinos, play and win, play and lose, it;s all a gamble. (putting a few new picks up. I've been pretty much off the road for the last 3 months, that's along time for a Helicopter Migrant worker, been tied to the puter, working on this maintenance manual. The helicopter that we're modifying is coming along great, it will be flown to California for the Helicopter convention in Febuary, not sure if Im going, kinda getting used to staying put. 2009, planned travels are New Zealand, Strugis, Memphis. Looking forward to it, also expect to make good progress on Graceland (Linda Rose and my property up by Waco, Tx), love that place. Will be in touch as the Rotor Turns the continueing saga of a helicopter migrant worker. I want to share with you the passing of an old friend, Naugha Red, a quilted, fannel, lined shirt I have worn for years. THE PASSING OF NAUGHA RED DECEMBER 15, 2000 TO March 1, 2009 AS ALL NAUGHAS MUST, AND AS THOSE BEFORE YOU, NAUGHA RED¿S TIME HAS COME. AS NAUGHA RED PASSES THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF SHIRTS NAUGHA RED SHALL FEAR NO EVIL NOR SEWING NEEDLE, NOR RAG BAG FOR NAUGHA RED SHALL BE ANIONTED WITH STAIN REMOVER CLEANED, PRESSED AND FOLDED TO BE PLACED ON THE RIGHTHAND OF HIS MAKER GREAT LAND INC. GO FLUFFY INTO THE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE NAUGHA RED NYLON TO NYLON POLYESTER TO POLYESTER COTTON TO COTTON REST IN ONE PIECE EULOGY NAUGHA RED YOU CAME TO ME SHINEY AND NEW XXL`, CRISP OF COLLAR, STRAIGHT OF SLEEVE AND THROUGH THE YEARS YOU KEPT ME WARM AND DRY AND PROTECTED ME WITHOUT FAIL AND NIETHER RAIN, NOR SLEET, NOR SNOW, NOR DARK OF NIGHT KEPT YOU FROM YOUR DUTY AND WHEN NATURE CALLED, YOU BRAVELY AND WILLINGLY GAVE YOUR POCKETS AND NO MATTER HOW DIRE THE CIRCUMSTANCE OR HOW ROUGH THE GOING GOT, YOUR BUTTONS HELD FAST AGIANST THE STRAIN. AND YOUR FIBERS HELD STRONG AND RESILLANT AGIANST THE GREASE, OILS, PAINTS AND ACIDS, EVEN THE CAT. THAT YOU WERE SUBJECTED TOO. AND AS TIME WENT ON AND YOUR FABRIC WAS RIPPED, TORN, BURNED AND STICHED TIME AND TIME AGAIN YOU HELD FAST AND AS ALWAYS PROVIDE MUCH COMFORT AND WHEN THE TIDE CAME AND YOU WERE AGITAITED, SPUN, RINSED AND TUMBLED DRIED BEYOND ALL REASONABLENESS, YOU ENDURED. AND EVEN AS YOUR THREADS FADED AND WEAKENED AND YOUR FABRIC BECAME INFIRM, YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE FOR ME. I¿LL MISS YOU OLD FRIEND It's a sad day, as the rotor turns, the continueing saga of a helicopter migrant worker. Just got back from a week in New Zealand with Linda Rose, what a perfect place to visit, rented a Road King and did some touring, driving on the left side of the road is spooky, and I'm confident that the NZ folks will get over their tramatizing expierence of me driving on their roads. I would say to you (that being whom ever is reading this) keep in mind, there is the here and now, the near future and the long term plan, don't put off into the future, to long as our journey on this earth, may be shorter than your future plan has allowed for. Go and Do, for tomorrow may not come. We're here for a short while and we leave, as we entered this life, first breath to last breath. Working with some Canadians this week, they are always a hoot, to work with. As The Rotor Turns the Continueing Saga of a Helicopter Migrant Worker. Until next time Via Con Dios. It's been awhile, 2010 was less than a stellar year, the high points were Linda Rose winning first place at the FirstElvis Presely International Car Show with her Elvis, portriated
