Joan's Story
I am married 30 years to my wonderful Husband David. We have three children. Two living, Jessica 29, married with one child Madalyn. Aaron who just married this past April. Justin who is my youngest died by suicide at the age of 17 September 27, 2004. It has changed our lives forever. I will never be the same person I once was. olfer and weight lifter. He was just a great kid all around. He was under so much pressure with a lot of changes in the end of his Junior year at Trinity High School. It all became to much for him with all the stress that something just snapped in his brain that day. I would have never dreamed one of my children would die by suicide.
The statics used to be high for those with known mental illnesses. It has changed that now the high statistics are kids just like Justin. The over achiever.
