Fran Blackwell:  

Started working at Southern Bell in October of my Senior year at JMHS. From 67-68 attended Lee College in Cleveland, TN. Also continued working part time at Bell while there. Came home in June and just transferred right back. Started my 2nd year of College at Kennesaw Jr. Continued with (in Nov 1969 my mother passed - a massive stroke) stayed with Southen Bell until April '91 In Marietta & moved to Dalton, GA to work for GTE, had various positions, my favorite"Customer Service Instructor" '76-'88. For a time while I was there working I went to night and day classes and finished my AA degree in business, then my Bachelor's degree from Brenau University graduating in May 1983. In '83 I married Wayne Blackwell & moved to Mansfield, GA. worked in the GTE Monroe/Winder office; most of those years kept me on the road traveling from one district to another teaching customer service changing procedures.. Move to Durham, NC in Jan. '87 to May '88; Moved back to Conyers, GA, I worked as the Supervisor at the GTE out-of-franchise sales office in Dunwoody, GA. AND - ON JAN. 3RD '89 I HAD A BABY GIRL NAMED HER TAYLOR LEEANN BLACKWELL). She'll be 30 Jan.'19. She graduated from Kennesaw University in 2012 Majored In Advanced English Studies, Now in grad school online with Capella University "Counseling". May '90 I got the be promotion of all to GTE MOBILE CORP Office as Administrator Customer Service Training, training is the best fit ever for me.
