Frances's Story

our skin. I am learning my language now. My culture has been my healing. Sounds all serious, but there has been lots of fun times too. Like, when I was in my first relationship, I discovered I couldn't cook. Thank God for Betty Crocker cookbooks! I worked as a deckhand on a fish boat, and you just don't have alot of places to run out on the ocean. My first partner was french canadian and he was talking about me with a friend, I didn't realize I had been learning Quebecois french in that 7 yr. relationship. I'm looking forward to working as an elder with Corrections if I ever hear back from them, so I'm not quite ready to even think of retiring.
