Frances Jones:  

I was married July 17, 2020, to Rick Jones, a man I have been seeing 6 years. We met July 17, 2014, in the produce section of Publix (squeezing avocadoes!) He worked, for the Florida Association of Court Clerks and Comptrollers (a.k.a. - FACC or CiviTek, NOT part, of the State of Florida). The FACC is a private, non-profit association which, is wholly owned and governed by the members of a for-profit company. He was the Systems Engineering Manager and Manager of Operations. Rick retired, from the Association, after nineteen years, on January 3, 2018 (The day it snowed in Tallahassee!)., Rick has 2 grown daughters. The oldest is 46, youngest 40. He also, has three grandsons! April 6, 1981, I was hired, by Avis at the Tallahassee International Airport, as a Rental Rep. I was given a new set of uniforms and a plane ticket to Miami for two weeks training class.. I gladly accepted both and never looked back! I worked for Avis (now Avis/Budget), twenty-two years. Considering all the celebrities I met, knowledge I gained and fun I had, I wouldn't change a single moment! We are both avid Harley-Davidson Motorcycle riders and we regularly attended Thunder Beach, in Panama City, when we lived in Tallahassee. Rick recently sold his 2016 Harley-Davidson CVO-Ultra Classic Limited. But, we still have a Can Am., which, is particularly smooth and tremendously fun to ride! When the pandemic hit ( March 27, 20), I was laid-off. Rick asked me to come to Dallas, Georgia, where he was raised.. After proposing marriage June 18, 2020, we married on our 6 year anniversary date, July 17, 2020! (I can happily say, I am now, a resident of Georgia!!) My son, Thomas, is 38 years old. He is also, the BEST thing, I will ever, be a part of creating! He attended Trinity Catholic School for 10 years (4k-8).
