Frances's Story
I love to crochet and I am entering the Hempstead County Fair this year with one of my Afghans. This will be my first time to enter. Am in the process of making bay hats to donate to Arkansas Children's Hospital. I moved to Montclair from New Mexico just before my freshman year started. I was so glad to start a school and get to go all the way thru and finish at the same school. That was because I was a Marines daughter. High school was fun but scary also. so many civilians and only had a few close friends in high school. I never married and now live in a small town called Hope AR. I have a daughter who is 40 and a biker and is my pride and joy.. I took care of both my parents till their death several years ago. I will be retiring at the end of 2017 and then plan on going on a cruise to celebrate that retirement.
Well I won a blue ribbon for my Afghan and one for an infant hat. Will be entering them this weekend in out District Fair.
I am planning on being at our next reunion and hoping my daughter will come with me. Am excited about seeing who I remember and who remembers me.
