Frances's Story

After graduation I worked in Houston at St Luke's & Texas Children's Hospital then in the credit industry. I moved to Lubbock to run a credit department for a chain store and met my future husband. We married in 1969 and have been together ever since. We have 3 wonderful step kids and we have one daughter together. Our daughter has given us 2 grand children, Kristen & Kevin. Our other kids have given us one boy, Craig, and 4 grand daughters, Lorena, Naomi, Kesi and Jamie. We also have 3 1/2 great-grand children. My husband was in light commercial construction and trave...Expand for more
led the country a lot of our time together. We finally settled in the DFW area here in Texas. The year I hit 40 I went to work for the Department of the Treasury, IRS, and have never regretted it one bit. I loved the work. I progressed up the ladder until I became a field revenue officer and I just retired from the position of General Field Advisor. I retired 6/11 after 24 & 1/2 wonderful years. Now in my new career I am try8ing to pick up all of the hobbies that I never seemed to have time for before, Church, gardening, crafting, reading, grand kids etc, etc...........
