Frances's Story

Hi! I've been in NJ for 27 years ,married for 40 years and have 6 kids, 1 daughter-in-law ,2 son-in-law, and 4 grandkids. Still a couple left at home. I went to votech for upholstery years ago. Going days with the teenagers was an education in itself. With a house full of soon to be teenagers at the time I was in full panic. Every grey hair was well earned over the next few years. My husband has been semi-retired for a long time only working part time at our local hospital. He was very active in Boy Scouts for over 25 years and has finally retired from it . tery business and start winding down for retirement. Doesn't seem to be working. I taught it in night school for a few years. It's been a great business to be in. When ever my kids happened to be between jobs they'd work for me. Getting business has never been hard. In fact, when times get tough our shop does well. Not many people do this kind of work anywhere. We hope to be moved into our retirement house about ten miles from where we are sometime next summer. We'll still have a couple kids left at home. We go to Syracuse every summer for my family reunion. Let's stay in contact.
