Colin's Story

Life Was a high school drop out at West Hill High. My 18 year old twins just graduated from high school in Vancouver, both with scholarships. My daughter was veladictorian. Go figure! Spent most of my adult life on the West Coast in marketing. Sold my business accounts about 3 years ago but still dabble. Kind of in semiretirement. Owned a place at Fanny Bay on Vancouver Island. A lot of people's dream. Cashed it in last fall and moved to Victoria. Needed more stimulus. Hike a lot (have done the West Coast Trail), love sea kayaking, play some golf and play some tennis. Have a steady girlfriend who keeps me in line. Love jazz (have seen a number of the greats), like to write, enjoy a good book (mostly non-fiction), recently built a website. Lots to do and see. Europe next year. Somewhere sunny and warm for a week or so in the winter. Life is, and has been good. No complaints. Independent thinker. ...Expand for more

Pot should be legalized. Everyone has got "stuff". Far too much BS out there. Am a confirmed atheist. Grew a goatee a few years back and still have it. Never went the pony tail and tattoo route. E-e-e-k to both! I find a little bit of nostalgia can go a long way. We can't change the past. No regrets. A once in a while thing. I would hope that those who read this have had rich, rewarding lives. We are not at the end yet unless you know something I don't. Keep on trucking! Turning 60? It is just a number. Have some great memories of growing up in NDG. Duplex city? Have found it a bit odd as to how people are curious but hardly ever add anything with some substance. Maybe next lifetime? Peace and....out!
