Frances's Story
Not being one of the "in" group, and kind of an introvert, people may not even remember me much. I had a crush on Tom Croft and then Len Michaux but I don't think they ever even knew. I kind of had one on Mr Wilson too!
I went to Uvic, became a teacher and have just now retired - Jan 2007. I taught in Saanich, mostly Middle School, and have lived in Victoria the whole time.
I have three great sons. I love to travel, garden and go boating with my partner ......Brooke Tomlin ...he is also a Mount Doug Grad but I met him only 8 years ago.

him I never would have survived Jimmy Muir's Math 91 - thank God for reccommendations)........I'm still not sure what a slide rule was for really. And Mr Damer gave me an interest in Literature with which I persued a Bachelor Degree in English before getting my teaching degree.
I hope my friends remember me as a good listener and someone who was there for them. My best friend was Fred Edmondson.......he was always there with a smile and a walk home and I was so very sorry to hear of his death a few years ago.
With luck I will make our 50th reunion. I have beaten cancer, and fully intend to outlive my pension!
