Life
After 13 years of being single and having decided I liked it that way-just me and my son, Mr. Right came through my front door and after 9 months of dating-he proposed to me on Christmas Day 2003. After getting over the initial shock, I finally managed to say 'yes' and we were married April 10, 2004. It's been just over a year now and, though we've had our trials and tribulations trying to combine two teenagers into one household, we still like each other and I am pretty sure he's going to be around a long, long time. He has a daugther, Bekah, who is now 14 and her and my son Dan, who's 15, are finally managing to tolerate each other. Though we love both of our children dearly, they are at the age where we are counting the days until they turn 18 and we can have our independence once again. Surely, any one with teens in the house can relate to that!
Life is good-better than I imagined it would be. God has brought me to a very warm place and He gave me the perfect man to share it. I have definately been blessed in many ways in my lifetime and thank the good Lord daily for all the great things he's given to me.
