Francis's Story
It's been ten years since I retired from my old job now. Since then I've traveled with my wife on the motorcycle and have taken the road less traveled. I'm livin' the dream and lovin' it. Now a little catchin' up to do since my first posting. Since being retired I've lost both parents and my brother BUT for the first time I've become a grandfather. I have two adult kids and my son is a police officer here in Camb. A few years back my wife wanted me to get a part time job as I still have (in her mind) too much energy. " driving a truck (twenty six foot box truck), well I wanted only a couple of days a week BUT it became seven days a week with 50 to 60 hrs driving with sometimes over four hundred miles a day, I did that for about three years till I had to just call it quits, heck I worked at my old job for thirty eight years. Just to let you know my wife was happy when I re -retired. Ya the second job cut into my summer motorcycle riding. All in all I'm happy as a clam taking the road less traveled and always look for what's around the bend in the road.
