One of Francisco's favorite quotes is:"A smart man learns from his mistakes, A genius learns from others Can I win the lottery?". More about Francisco:"I Stick to my word like gorilla glue My name is Francisco Luis Raffucci. I get hacked alot cuz haters want my dick , a common nickname for Francisco is Paco. Ever since I can remember my family, friends, and teachers call me paco. I was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on November 26, 1991. I have many relatives who still live there. Every summer, until I was 15, my parents would send me to Puerto Rico to visit family. Each time I went, I met old and new faces. I bet there are still family members I have not met. I moved to the states when I was a baby, at 2 years old. As a toddler I knew a few words and sentences, of my native tong, Spanish. One of my early teachers gave my family advice, “Do not speak Spanish to your son, only speak English, so he could learn the language quicker.” It backfired and I went through what is called culture shock. I went mute for 1 full year before speaking, surly enough it was English when I finally spoke. I was a little over three by then. My family and I first lived in Reading, I don’t remember much there other then finding a dead bird on the street. Then we moved to Leola. I don’t remember much there either. I took my first kindergartner classes there. After kindergarten we moved to Bowling Greens, Ohio. We lived there until my mother was done getting her masters degree. Then we came back to PA to Manheim Township. I was in second grade end lived in Roseville Apts. This is where I took fancy to sports. I was on the football team and played basketball until the sun went down, most days. If I would have spent as much time in the books as I did on the court or field, I would have been a genius. Then we moved to a house in Manheim Township school district. Zarker Rd. this was my parents best accomplishment for the family and they loved the area to raise us. I remember most, if not everything, from ...Expand for more
this house. We had a pool, two dogs, a trampoline and the biggest house we have ever had. Not to mention one of the best school districts around. Top 500 high schools of America. All my good and bad memories came from this house; my happiest times and good friends. Although my friends lived in Roseville, we were always together. All good things come to an end they always say, and my parents ended up getting divorced. I started smoking tobacco at this time. Because of the divorce I wasn’t “old” enough to choose which parent to reside with, thus they had dual custody. Every two weeks my parents shared me. I had to pack my bags and go to one of the my parent’s house. This did not last to long, maybe 7 months. I got fed up with it and confronted my parents to let me live as long as I wanted in either home. So that’s what we did, I lived with my dad until I started missing my mother and so on. My parents have continued moving, at least another two times within Lancaster, after the divorce. I graduated from high school, Manheim Township, in the summer of 2010. I had failed gym my senior year. You might ask how or why, well senior year I decided to go to CTC Brownstown to study the art of electrical construction. Manheim Township requires 4 years of gym to graduate, so they give there students a folder with instructions of exercises that must be completed and handed in each week. I did not hand mine in on a regular basis making me vulnerable to fail. I was stripped of my right to walk with my class, for failing the one course of “study” I deem myself best at. I never have gotten below a 90% in gym before. I understand it was my responsibility, but I understood it late. It’s been one year since I’ve graduated from high school and now I want to progress in post secondary school. I feel I have been blessed with a mother who loves me and who works at a university so I must use my recourses to further education and myself in society. I hope to be successful due to my accomplishments and hard work. I have made some errors in my short life but these errors have helped me understand that there is more to life and that I need to work for it. This is who I am.".
