Life After leaving Central, I spent 4 years at MSU. Majored in music education. The draft got me in 1971, and I inlisted in the Marine Corp. I was in the reserves, so never had to go active. Got married in 1972 while still in school to Jenny Harper ( from Wingfield ). After leaving Starkville, got into the insurance business. Stayed in the insurance business for most of my career. Tried my hand at several things such as starting a computer resale company, a training company, and even bought into an automobile dealership. (Ford, Mercury, Lincoln). Jenny and I had a great son in 1985. He is a senior at MSU now. After 34 years of marriage I finally got divorced last January. I now live in Oxford, MS. ( enemy territory ). Still in the insurance business. I have gotten back into dating. Wow it is really different at 55 than it was at 16. I have gone out with some great ladies. Lots of people tell me that dating at this age is difficult, but frankly I have found it exciting. I havent met anyone who wasn't interesting in some way. I am ...Expand for more
