Frank's Story
Workplace
After being dicharged from the Marine Corps I went to work for General Motors [6 years].I got fed up with the politics and quit. I spent the next several months traveling around the western united states. I need to go back to work so i sold my car and went to Hawaii where I worked as a short order cook, bouncer and bar tender. I benefits. Had to go back to work so I took a job roofing. Hard work but I enjoyed it . After 20 years I retired from the roofers union. Went to work for Contra Costa County as a roof specialist and am going to retire 1-1-07.
Military
Served in the Marine Corps July of 1959 to July of 1963. Went to boot camp in San Diego. Served with thh 1st Marine division and the 3rd Marine Division. I spent 1 1/2 years in Okinawa and Japan.
