Frank's Story
Life
Although I have a soft spot in my heart for China Lake and Burroughs, it didn't stop my folks from moving us to Scottsdale, Arizona after my sophmore year. While attending Scottsdale High School I met my future (and current) wife Shari. We married in 1967 and soon thereafter moved to California.
We were one of those couples who decided that we didn't want to have children; we were too busy with the good life, travel, etc.
So, now when folks find out about our 12 and 13 year old daughters they usually want to know about my "other family" and my grown kids. Well, the other family doesn't exist and all of you out there with grown kids can have s...Expand for more
ympathy with us with two girls in junior high school and driving still 2-3 years away.....
To make a long story short, we had a major change of heart and are finding out how fulfilling it is to be parents. On the other hand, we've been asked if we're here to pick up our grandkids and that hurts!
We live in the San Francisco Bay area and enjoy all that it has to offer. We are often traveling and it seems that Burroughs reunions are often scheduled during one of our summer trips.
