Frank's Story
Life
After Graduation I went onto college for two years until I was offered a job at Johnson/Evinrude motors. I worked there over the summer and was rudely awakened when the company decided to lay-off 5,000 of its employees and move the company to Georgia. My parents had then retired in Texas by then and I took a chance to move there and go back and finish my degree. Well after a year, my good friend had just return from Europe. He was stationed in the Air Force and turned me onto the thought of a career, free school and soon enough I joined. I've been in the Air Force as a Meteor...Expand for more
ologist over 15 years and love it. Many of my fellow weather folks now work at the Weather Channel and National weather Service. The job is very close to civilian work, plus I have seen the world. Loved Europe and South America. Visited many hot vacation spots for free. I'm stationed in Georgia now. I have one child from a previous and only marriage. His name is Kristopher, age 13. I still think about my first love and each relationship I developed through the years. Its nice to think about your life over time. It interesting on how many fellow students moved away from Waukegan.
