Frank's Story
Life
I left America in 1983 to live in Sydney Australia until 1995/6 when I moved to Jakarta, Indonesia where I eventually met my wife to be in Hong Kong in 2000. In 2001 I moved to Shanghai, China to get married. My wife and I moved to the US in Feb 2005 and left again for Shanghai, China in Jan 2006.
It's been great to have the experience of living in other countries and to be able view the States as other countries do.
For my career I learned the neon sign trade and with that I was able to move to Australia where I eventually opened my own company. Making neon signs took me to Jakarta and China as well.
After only 11 months in the US I was offered the general manager position of Fallon Neon Shanghai. Fallon Neon like so many ...Expand for more
US companies opened a new factory in China. My job to get the factory up and running. Fallon Neon is well know for all those red and blue "OPEN" signs at Sam's Club and many 'Beer Signs' such as Miller and Bud Light. After one year mission accomplished!
We are still in Shanghai and we love it.
We have our own company, Vantaggio Chemical Co.,LTD (vantaggio.us) supplying the synthetic leather industry.
We are partners with Pritty Pearlescent Pigments Co., LTD manufacturing special effect pigments used in cosmetics and industrial applications (pritty.biz)
We are partners with Kermay Permeable Synthetic Leather Co. LTD manufacturing special air and water permeable synthetic leather used for shoe manufacture. (kermay.com)
