Frank's Story
Life
After Graduation in 1970 I went to work for the Boro of Roseland, . in January of 1973 I Married my wife of 43 years, her name is Claire and is from Belleville,NJ. We have Three (3) kids Shannon (32), Frank (31), and Bradford (29). All are now married and building there careers. We have two (2) Grandaughters, April who is now eight (18) and knows everything :-),and marissia who is now seven(7) we have two grand son's Aidan who is now nine (9) and alex who is now five (5) thay are the joy of our lives.
After leaving the Boro of Roseland in 1973 I went to work for ITT Defense Communications in Nutley, NJ. I was a member of the Department of Security responsible for the protection and security of government classified information, and projects. I spent 13 years with ITT and then was offered and accepted the postion of Security Director for Diagnostic/Retrieval Systems, Inc. in Oakland, NJ where I spent the next five (5) years. In 1991 I accepted the position of Corporate Director of Training and Special Projects for Professional Security Bureau Ltd. in Nutley, NJ; and From 1999 to present I do security consultant work for many large and small companies through out the U.S.
I was also a member of the Hawthorne Caballeros Sr. Drum & Bugle corps in 1972 & 73 where we won the NJ State drum corps championship, the American Legion National Championship, and the Drum Corps Associates (DCA) world Championship. Claire and I were also involved with th...Expand for more
e Kids as they grew up, we were members and coaches of the Belleville Soccer Association (well I coached and Claire was team mom), we were involved as members of the Belleville High School Crew Parents Association, and I spent 2 years as Association President. In 1996 along with several other old drum corps friends we started the Imperial Guardsmen jr. drum & bugle corps in Belleville,NJ. and over the 6 years of the corps life we introduced music and travel to over 200 kids in the Essex and Hudson county area that might never of had the chance to travel the Northeast and Canada. I am very proud of what these kids accomplished. in October of 2012 I was inducted into thr N.J. Drum Corps Hall of fame.
As for the future...... Well who knows, Claire and I now live in Bloomfield, NJ and hope to travel a little, Laugh a little, Love ALOT, and spend time with friends, family and our grandkids (we hope for more). I also hope to make contact with some of you, my classmates and friends from a time in my life I will always hold close. So write! I would love to here from you, Liz Baer, Mark Sussmen, Doug O'connell, Charlie Crawford, Bill Willamie, Karen Shinderwolf, John Ober, Robie Hall, Lee Johnson and so many more of you, especialy a special little red head from Roosevelt street in Roseland.
