More about Frank:"I am Frank S. Wagner. I was born at Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi Texas, in the same delivery room as Louise Mandrell. My father was Frank S. Wagner born in Temple, Texas on August 26th, 1925. My mother, Marian Johnson was born in South Dakota.
I was born in Corpus Christi. I loved growing up there in that south Texas town. My mother was devoted to the civil rights movement and because we lived near the tradtionall African-American neighborhood in the city I learned to appreciate the culture. Of course, the majority of the citizens in Corpus Christi are hispanic and learned much from them. I went to Oak Park Elementary School, Driscoll Junior High School, where I was on the basketball team, and very proud to have gone to Roy Miller High School. I graduated with a degree in English and Political Science from Southwest Texas in San Marcos. I have worked in radio and television for the most part since then but I did serve in the U.S. Navy. I am now the news director of KWHI in Brenham and I am the author of BRICKS AND GHOSTS, a novel about my experiences as a newsman in Laredo, Texas. T
This is a fictionalized account. I am the author of a new book of poetry 'The Day Aldous Huxley Died' which should be published in the near future.".
