Frank's Story

Life Hello to all of you from '70, '71, '72, and '73(the classes I most remember) I realized a while ago this bio was sadly out of date. Since there are still some of us that occasionally visit this site to check on one another, figured I'd bring it up to speed. Apologies if I don't respond to any guestbook sign-in anyone might have left. I've been too cheap(or lazy) to upgrade my membership here so I can't see who signed the guestbook. But for some reason, I do get the messages people leave(??) I still live in Sat.Bch. and have since we moved back in 1994, arguably one of my better life-decisions. In Sept. '05 I retired from MPD with almost 32 yrs. Just doesn't seem that long. I stayed retired for 11 days, and then went back to work, this time for Satellite Beach P.D. I figure to stick around until they get tired of me, or vice versa, whichever comes first. KIDS- we have three and a remarkable daughter-in-law: Our two boys, Frank& David, are 27. David has graduated from Norwich Univ in Vermont and is a Captain with the 82nd Airborne Div. US Army. He's completed a years tour in Afghanistan, 13 months in Iraq, and is in Iraq, again, for another year. His brother Frank also graduated from Norwich and also a Captain in the Army.He was with the 101st Airborne and has done a years tour in Iraq. David&wife Emily (Dooley) made us grandparents in 2006 and yet again in 2008. Busy folks, Emil...Expand for more
y & Dave are..... Our daughter Savannah is 14 now. She's a pisser for sure like her brothers, and though its early to speculate where her future lies, it promises to be an adventure... For those of you who knew my parents, Dad passed away in '02. Mom is still in the same house and though the hurricanes in '04 were a little rough on her, she's doing well. For my wife Nancy(Fuller)and I, life's been exceptionally good these last 19yrs or so. I still think of many of you, though our contacts have grown fewer over time. The old alma matter barely resembles it's old self after what they've done to it during summer '08. Some of the original parts are still visible, but not much. The town itself has seen the slow but inexorable march of condominiums up the coastline, but the city acquired some 40% of the beachfront, setting it aside as public property(how cool is that?) And if you drive the backstreets, you can easily see S.B. is still all there like it was before you left. I occasionally see some of the old crowd, like Susie Barth, Shirley Sinclair, Jane Fort,Bob Shepherd, Skip Shepherd, Frank Catino and others. Dan Rocque(70) and Lee Fuller(73) are my brother and sister-in-law, as are Randy Fuller(73), Scott Fuller (71) and Brenda Fuller(69) so, as you can see, I got lucky in that regard too. Best of fortunes to all of you and, hopefully, I'll run into you sometime soon. Best regards Frank
