my professional philosophy. When we lead, everyone looks to us for inspiration and confidence in the tasks ahead. The pitcher in the baseball game is in control of everything, nothing happens till he releases the ball. He controls the tempo, the rhythm and in a way, the psyche of all around him - teammates and opponents. There's no place for panic - nor is there any need when you're in control of the situation.
I've shared this with many over the years and have tried to live it. It's easier to share it than to live it, though :-)".
More about Frank:"'It all started out in a 5,000 watt radio station in Fresno...',
'Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away...',
'It was a dark and stormy night...',
'I was a bad kid...', oh yeah,
'Once upon a time...'
Damn it, all the good openings are taken. When I can start with something original, I'll let you know...".
