I grew up with Colecovision, MTV when they used to play videos, and playing sports of every kind in my hometown neighborhood of Broomall Pa. I played Football, Ice Hockey and ran Track in high school. I went to the University of Maryland, and served as VP of my Fraternity (Sigma Phi Epsilon). I graduated with an Economics degree in 1995, and moved back to the Philadelphia area. I am married to my beautiful wife Brandy. We live in The Meadows at Valley Forge with my our 3 little dogs (2 Pugs: Daisy & Lacey, and a Beagle/Chin: Bailey).
Professional Career
I have had a rewarding Sales Career that began with five years of sales success with Ceridian selling integrated SaaS (Software as a Solution) Payroll / Tax Filing / HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) business solutions to small and mid-size companies. I won five consecutive Presidentâs Club Awards & received two promotions while with Ceridian to become the youngest Regional Sales Manager in the company.
In 2002, I left Ceridian to pursue a promising opportunity with a Venture Capital Company (Ecount) where I closed Million Dollar Debit Card Incentive Programs with companies, such as Ralph Lauren & Miller Brewing Company.
In 2003, I was recruited into Pharmaceutical Sales by GlaxoSmithKline where I earned three promotions in five years for consistent quota achievement. While at Glaxo...Expand for more
SmithKline, I completed a prestigious âinvitation onlyâ management training program, launched 3 new products, and won many District, Regional, and National level sales awards, including the Diamond Tier Club Award for a top 3% National Sales Ranking. My move into Pharmaceutical Sales was greatly inspired by my family. My sister has diabetes, my father passed away from complications due to both his diabetes and heart disease, and my mother passed away after a nine year struggle with Alzheimerâs disease. In fact, I would have to say my proudest professional moment was when I was able to dedicate my Diamond Tier Presidentâs Club Award to my mother during our companyâs awards banquet.
In the spring of 2008 I was recruited from GSK by a small start-up company named United Medical Records to build a regional sales organization selling a SaaS business solution to improve virtual patient chart management for physicians, labs & hospitals. As VP of Sales for United Medical Records, I developed & tested the companyâs sales model, created revenue & forecasting models, set sales goals & compensation plans, created a training program, and hired a 12 person sales force. Unfortunately, United Medical Records was unable to secure the venture capital financing needed to launch its product.
In 2009 I joined Alcon Laboratories as a Specialty Eye & Ear Sales Representative calling on physicians in a territory that covers Northern Phila, Bucks & Montgomery Counties up to Allentown. In 2011 I finished first in the Nation winning Sales Rep of the year for my division, and my 7th overal career President's Club.".
