Frank's Story
Life
I joined the Navy following graduation. I've been stationed in San Diego, Ca. Pearl Harbor, Hi. Monterey, Ca. Seattle, Wa. and Indiana.
I've lived in Maryland and currently in Ambler, Pa. I have three children, Elizabeth, Nancy and Dale and two grandchildren. I been married twice. Currently with Diane who I've been married for the past 13 years.
In the Navy I became a journalist, my speciality was broadcasting. Since I left the Navy, I worked at a bowling center, and now manage a small store and deli. I also have my own DJ business, which I've had for the past ten years.
While in the Navy I traveled to Japan, Okanawki, Tawain, Philippines, Korea, Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Diego Garica and Midway.

First assignment was a harbor tug boat in San Diego
then I was assigned to the USS Durham (LKA-114) a transport ship. During that tour, I became a Navy Journalist (1972-1975).

nt to the USS Goldsbourgh (DDG-20) in Pearl Harbor Hawaii. During my tour I ran a closed circuit televison station, put out a ship newspaper (when deployed) and handle ship public affairs matters.
After the USS Goldborough, I was sent to the Commander-in-Chief Pacific Fleet headquaters. Still in Pearl Harbor I made rank and work on public affairs and community events. (During the tour in Hawaii, I Had three great kids (Elizabeth, Nancy and Dale).
In 1981 I left the military and returned to Washington.
In 1982 I returned to the military and was stationed aboard the USS Constellation (CV-64) an aircraft carrier. While onboard I ran a radio station, two television stations, put a newspaper, a news letter and work with the public on several big events.
In 1985 I was sent to the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey Ca.
(Monterey is where I met my wife).
In 1988 I joined Combat Camera Unit. I was in charged of the commands magazine and video editing.
In 1991 I finished my military service at Sand Point, Seattle washington. I retired in 1993.
