Frankie's Story
Wow, hard to believe it's been so many years since high school. The 30th reunion was a blast. It was great reconnecting with so many great people.
My story is one of many turns ! I am happily married to my best friend, Chris. We are approaching our 18th year together and marriage. We met while I was on vacation in San Diego. We were instantly in love and married a week later, even though there is a considerable age difference of 10 years. We have 2 amazing kids, Korbin 15 and Kelsey 13. We have moved around some, but always wind back up in San Diego County. Prior to marrying Chris I owned and operated my own hair salon in the Sacramento area.

tylist and immediately went to work. With in 2 years I opened up my own salon with a partner and dear friend Ken Moon, ( most everyone knew of Ken, RIP, and had a haircut or two from him, or knew his son Randy Moon ). It was a lot of work and a big adventure to say the least. Ken was one of my friends that I was on vacation with when I met my husband Chris, and even stood up for Chris at our wedding.
My present story is a tough one, since I am dealing with rheumatoid arthritis. I was diagnosed 8 years ago, but recently it became very active. As a result I am getting ready to have both my hips replaced. I just hope and pray it stops there. I keep a very positive attitude, and accept whatever challenge comes my way with a sense of humor, a few cuss words and eventually a smile ! Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
