Frankie's Story

Frankie is from Cairo, Georgia where she graduated from Cairo High School. After graduation, she attended Sullins College (a girls' college in Bristol, Virginia). After one year there, Frankie transferred to Florida State University where she received a bachelor degree in Speech and Language Pathology. While she studied at FSU, she pledged National Kappa Delta Sorority . Frankie married H.E. Strickland in 1955 (deceased as of 1994). o grandchildren: #! FSU, UGA, Auburn, Georgia Tech, and Suwanee. Some of her popular music choices include: The Carpenters, Barbra Streisand, and always the late Frank Sinatra. Some of her favorite TV shows include the Hallmark Hall of Fame programs, a special program about Bobby Bowden (THE GOOD FIGHT: BOBBY BOWDEN AND THE FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES), all the FSU football games ( especially the ones FSU WON like the National Championship game in Pasadena!). Among the TV regular shows, her likes include ESPN, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Soap Opera "Days of Our Lives".
