Franklin's Story

Life Hi, folks, After high school, I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1978, went to a year of graduate school in social work, returned to Shelby to work at the newspaper until 1981 when I moved to Greensboro to work at the paper. I met Lisa and we later married in 1985. I adopted Christina (now 19 and at UNC Gr...Expand for more
eensboro) soon after moving to Spartanburg where I worked at the Greenville paper. Lisa is administrative manager of Vopak, a chemical distributor. While in Woodruff (near Spartanburg), we had Catherine, 13. I have been a staff person at First Lutheran Church since 1990. If you're ever in Greensboro, give us a call.
