Life 12-17-09: After graduating from Buena, I did a tour of duty at Ventura College. Following that, like many young men, I was drafted into the Army. I did my Basic Training at Fort Ord, then in their brilliant wisdom the Army sent this ol' Saticoy Boy to Philadelphia (The City of Brotherly Shove). There I worked as medic in an Army dispensary for the better part of 2 years. Just before leaving Philadelphia I met my beautiful wife Grace [now ex] to whom I was married for 27 yrs. We fell in love and all that, but I was getting out of the Army (Oct. 1968) so I had to return to Saticoy! May 9th, 1970 we married. On July 14th 1969 I joined the California Highway Patrol. Grace and I have a son, Rob, who is 43 years and has 5 beautiful daughters: Jackie 17 & Rebeccah 13, Sierra 14, Sarah 6, Abby 3 years. He married Yolie in May 2002.
