Fred's Story

Hello to all, I left PG in 82. I went to college met my wife got married in 84. I graduated from CSU Chico with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 87. I went to work for a fiberglass manufacturer, designing production equipment after graduating. My daughter Sara was born in 89. I earned my Professional Engineering license and Masters of Science Engineering in 91. I was the Engineering Manager ahead of R and D, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance for a ammunition reloading company called RCBS. I managed and played gutair in a rock band called dog'ma in northern California for 10 years as a side gig and had a lot of fun. My son Daniel was born in 93. I earned my phD in Mechanical Engineering in 94. At this point in my career I had invented 13 United States and International patents as well as write articles for magazines regarding ammunition reloading. The owners of RCBS we're on the 104th floor of the world trade center in the 2nd tower and we're all killed on 9/11. I made a career change in October of 2001 and went to work for a Defense contractor making military parts and assemblies. I worked my way up through the company and became lead engineer and the technical director over manufacturing and engineering for a company that grew from 5...Expand for more
0 to 150 employees. I went through a rough divorce in 2010 after 26 years of marriage. My son graduated with a BS in accounting in 2016. In January of 2017 I started my own company with my son. I am the president and CEO and my son is the CFO of Millennium Aerospace and Defense. My company specializes in low quantity, high quality aircraft parts components and assemblies for the Department of Defense. I moved to Ione in 2011. I live by myself with my pug Yoda. I bought a Mini 3 acre ranch in 2014 that have been fixing it up and modernizing with custom band room and studio. Yes, I still have the Duster! It is gorgeous! A new 550 HP engine with tunnel ram and 2 four barrel Carburetors (same as before) with less than 1000 miles on the drive train,( new transmission and rear end), beautiful paint job with a new interior. It is parked in the garage next to my Corvette. I lost my best friend of 38 years last year to covid. We we're going to start another cover band like dog'ma after I retire in a few years. He wouldn't get vaccinated and it got him. Life is short and it seems to be getting faster every day. My wish for everybody is to be healthy, happy and live everyday and cherish every moment with the people around you! You don't know how long you have!
