I was a competitive amatuer AAU weight lifter 165lb class for 15 years. Won 20 trophies mostly 2nd place as the first place lifter was also on my Berkeley YMCA team and I was never able to outlift him in competition. I was a Deputy Probation Officer for 32 years in Alameda Co. Retired 16 years ago. I have a Masters degree in Correctional Counselling and presently study Spanish in Jr College as a hobby. I have a National D soccer coaching license and a grade 8 referee lic in soccer. I've coached and refereed soccer for 15+ years from ages U6 to U16 in both competitive and recreational div. I served numerous terms on the Castro Valley Soccer Club board of directors and will be coaching a team again as soon as my youngest grdson turns 5.
