Fred's Story
Well what can I say...Arco was an interesting, fun, crazy, learning experience that helped make me the person I am today. I loved the close friendships and the truly unsupervised teenage life that I had there. Its amazing I survived....hill climbing with Doug Smith in a Chevy Nova!!!! when the engine shifted because he failed to bolt it on...pop-bottle rocket fights across a ravine that started the hillside on fire with Bryan Hopla and friends plus my brother Tony...motorcycle jumping with Warren Cordingly over and over again...dragging a bomb shell hom...Expand for more
e that I found in an abandoned shack with a faulty trigger mechanism....skiing off the cliffs at Blizzard mountain and almost drowning in the extraordinarily deep snow...setting traps for wild animals in the winter....flooding Phil Rathbun's dads field in winter and spinning his VW in circles like an ice rink for cars...free climbing the town "class year" cliffs. Today I am still a risk taker, but have learned to be much safer about it! e-mail me
