Fred Nicoloff:  

I got my undergraduate degree in Psychology from UCF. Was in a University of South Florida graduate program and got my master's degree in Psychology but left before doing my doctoral dissertation. I taught psychology classes at USF for 4 years, worked at Florida Mental Health Institute where I met my wife, who was a nurse. She passed away in 2021, leaving a big hole in the lives of those of us who loved her. In 1980 we moved to California after she joined the Air Force. In California I got an additional degree in computer programming. I became a programmer for environmental company where I could put my research and statistical knowledge to good use. I worked on massive environmental impact statements for Air Force Peacekeeper and Small Missile programs. I later worked on computerized economic modeling for RDN Inc., one of the leading southern California economic consulting firms. I worked on economic impact reports for the Base Realignment and Closure Commission that determined which US military bases to close. I was also my office's IT person.
