After graduating from Western, I attended Cypress College until joining the Air Force in 1969. I spent a year in Tachikawa, Japan then went on to Airborne School at Ft. Benning, Georgia, after earning my paratrooper wings, ti was off to Vietnam. I spent a little over a year in Quang Tri, Vietnam as a Forward Air Controler and then got out of the service in 1973. I married a girl from Tampa, Florida, had two beautiful girls, but unfortunately our marriage ended in a divorce.
