Fred's Story

Life For now I would just like to say "that I was born an American, have lived my life as an American and will die as an American. I LOVE THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS!" Workplace After college, I moved to Dallas. My first job was heading up the Safekeeping Department of Rausher, Pierce & Company, a brokerage firm, where I was responsible for the safekeeping of 30 million dollars worth of stock certificates and negotiable bearer bonds. After that, I moved on into my chosen profession, construction. Over the next eleven years, I was a Builder Representative for Dallas Power and Light Company, National Sales Manager for Hico Corporation, Steelform Divi...Expand for more
sion and General Manager for Steelform Rental. Then I moved on into General Contracting, working for Robert E. McKee, Jim Williams Jr. Fine Homes, LeeTex-Pacific and DalMac Construction Company, in management positions, as Senior Estimator, Manager of Purchasing, Director of Purchasing and Corporate Estimating Manager. I was very good at what I did and was very well known in Dallas construction circles as a reputable business person and as a manager. I had the reputation of a being a very fair and understanding leader, who respected his employees as people and not as numbers. I enjoyed a very successful and rewarding business career for 38 years.
