Fred's Story
Fred York, Stark HS, Class of '54, moved, with my parents, to Allendale, South Carolina, in 1952, where I graduated HS in '54. Graduated from Clemson (College)University, in Industrial Engineering, spent two years in the Army, and wound up working 30 years as an Industrial Sales Engineer for Exxon. Retired in '92. We have lived in Columbia, SC, since 1969.
I married a N.C. girl in 1963, and we have two sons who both graduated from Clemson.

interest in reading history has led me to my main hobby of Civil War relic hunting with a metal detector.
Even though we moved from Orange after I completed the 10th Grade, I have fond memories of times with people who's names I read in Classmates.
I guess some have change a little since the pictures in my 1952 Annual, but we still have the great background of growing up in Orange.
