Freddie's Story
Life;
I married Doris Lann (class of 1970 ) in 1970 and we have been happily married for almost 39 years. We have a son and two daughters who have made us very proud. We also have 5 grandchildren who we love to spoil
In 1989 after to many snows and below 0 temps we decided to head south and now live in Alabama way out in the country. (6 miles to town )
We have lost friends and family through the years and am now the older generation but I am grateful for each of you I had the op...Expand for more

Reflections;
As I look back the Austin area was a great place to grow up especially around Lake and Central.We had everything you could want. A drugstore a 5 and 10, the pot and pan restaurant, the National food store, Burny Bros. bakery Town Hall Park, the YMCA Max's corner store where you could get a ham sandwich and a coke for 50 cents for lunch, and let's not forget Sparta Grill and Key school and Austin High. Yep as I look back it was a great place to live.
