Frederick's Story
Life
Joined Ironworkers Local #5 in Washington, D.C. in 1970 as an apprentice. Worked all around the country and spent a year in Saudia Arabia.
Became the Business Manager of the Local for two terms (6 years) then moved to the Toledo, Ohio area.
Spend most of my time with my cars, trucks and motorcycles. Travel back to the D.C. area once and a while to check on friends and family.
Married twice, divorced twice. One daughter, Lizzy, is of course a redhead and gorgeous.
My son Simon passed away from cancer two years ago when he was 34.
Retired last year after 36 years with the Ironworkers. Now turning my attention to my small farm in Ohio. No wife, no pets just pack up and go when the mood strikes me.
The two top pictures are of me and my daughter Lizzy. I'm on a 1951 Norto...Expand for more
n pushrod single and she is on my 03 Buell Blast. Lizzy got her first ride when she was 18 months old on another Norton. (Nortons were made in England and went out of business in the late 70's)
I will be in the D.C. area in late October into November. My little baby is getting married October 27th 2007.
The wedding went perfectly and Daddy's little girl is now married to Rob Milor and living in Dunkirk, Maryland.
Lizzy is expecting a boy to arrive in late September 09. She and her husband Rob will name him Mason Robert Milor. He will be my first grandson.
My son, Simon, had 2 daughters before he passed away. The oldest, Katlyn, lives in South Carolina with her mother and Zoe, the youngest, lives in New Mexico with her mom. Needless to say I don't get to see them that often.
