Frederick's Story
I went into the Navy in Feb.1965 I served for twenty eight years. I was married in 1967. My wife traveled with me throughout my career. We moved to Goose Creek, South Carolina in 1978 and we have been together until her death in March 2009. I retired in 1993 as a Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9). I then went to work for Charleston County as a Detention Officer at the County Jail. In 1997 I moved to the maintenance shop for the jail in the Facilities Maintenance Dept. I retired in Oct 2008. I have two married Daughters and four Grand Children 2 girls and 2 boys. They all live within 5 miles of me. We go fishing on the 2...Expand for more
man made lakes and catch BIG catfish. We love the Blue Ridge Mountains and going to Biloxi, MS (Redneck Las Vegas) to do a little gambling. Retired life is good. Miss seeing my old classmates. SC is hot and humid in the summer time (late April to late Sept or early Oct) The rest of the year is nice. I was The Fleet Reserve Southeast Regional President from Oct 2011 - Oct 2012. I am currently the President of my Branch located in Goose Creek. I have a Great Grandson who was born in July 2014.
My Wife, Annmarie, passed away in March of 2008.
I remarried in Oct 2011 and am looking forward to being at our 50th Reunion.
