- Wife (45 years) and 1 of 4 children (a recent biology graduate of UNCW) reside in Knightdale, NC, a community bordering Raleigh on the East.
- Remaining 3 adult children reside near Los Angelos, in Jacksonville, FL, and near Raleigh.

- Go Bulls!

- Go Carolina Hurricanes!
- Dook stinks. ( I don't like NC State much either)

- Retired as of February 2023!
- Director of Business Development for EXCEL (EXCELUSA.com). I specialize in providing Construction solutions in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industries for companies such as Merck, Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline and many others,

Project Management, I spent 13 years with Verizon (including 2 years in Tehran, Iran), and 24 with Nortel Networks in the Research Triangle Park.

- Attending Carolina Hurricane games
- Attending UNC TarHeel Games (any sport)
- Glamping in our travel trailer
- I am an NRA certified instructor and licensed by NC to train and qualify people for Concealed Carry Handgun permits. I am also an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer and formerly a Karate instructor.
- Digital Photography and Video--Skilled with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects.
