Fredericka's Story
After high school, I was working still waiting tables and in 1989 I married Jesse Rodriguez and we had 1 son.I moved to Reno Nevada after the marriage didn't work out and have lived here ever since. My mother passed away and my sister and I are close as she lives here as well,she and I didn't plan it but we both had baby boys 5 weeks apart.Both boys are 18 almost 19 now and are doing well and are good to each other.When I was in school I used to hang with 3 girls all 1 year older than I and they were, Samantha R.,Jody T..and Deena B. ar.Samantha died in October of 2007 at age 40. Her mom,brother and 2 boys still live in Sylmar.For the last 14 years I have been with a man named Robert,we are not married but just as close like two people who are.I have had my eyes fixed so no more glasses or contact lens and I have had Gastric Bypass surgery and have lost 125lbs. It has saved my life and if I had to do it again I would.I was 37 years, weighed 314 and had to take 11 pills a day and smoked, today I don't smoke, drink,no more pills,no more diabetes,high cholesterol or high blood pressure,joint problems, all gone,today I have overcome obesity and regained control of my life.The photo up there is of my 19 year old son Fred.
