After that I went to Yale Law School for three years, graduating in 1980. From then until 1985, I worked for a Wall Street law firm, Cravath, Swaine & Moore. law full time, but did it on a contract basis, writing briefs for various firms, while I devoted myself to writing novels, none of which were ever published, and screenplays, none of which were made. During this period I married a wonderful woman, Joann, in 1989. In 1996, I went back to full time legal practice. I am now Counsel with the firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, specializing in appellate practice. I like to paint landscapes, and enjoy wine and going to plays.
