Frieda's Story
Graduated High School, spent some time at Ohlone College taking business courses, while working in electronics. Married first husband in 1972, had three children 2 daughters and a son. Divorced around 1982 and went back to technical school to be an electronic mechanic. Was hired by the Department of Defense and went to work for the Naval Aviation Depot, Naval Air Station, Alameda. Worked for the Navy Depot as Electronic Mechanic Worker- Missiles; Operations Analyst- A-6, Ea-6b, S-3 Aircraft; Avionics Project Manager, and Logistics Management Specialist for Ep-3 Aircraft Program. Took transfer to Jacksonville Florida around 1994 after Base closure of Alameda, and retired on medical retirement in May of 2004, with almost 23 years of service.
Now just enjoying retirement with hubby, and loving our visits with our children and grandchildren.
