Fritz's Story
I've worked in book publishing my entire career as a graphic designer. I've worked for a lot of major trade houses including: NAL, Viking-Penguin, Harper-Collins, Farrar, Straus, and Giroux, Morrow, Simon and Schuster, Henry Holt, Hyperion, Random House, Vintage, Pantheon, St. Martins, W.W. Norton, Oxford University Press, and Sterling, my favorite being Farrar, Straus and Giroux. I have resided in New York City since College. I attended Indiana University, but did not graduate. I've had two partners, the first, Jamie, died 19 years ago. The second, Kevin, and I split up 8 years ago, although we still remain friends. I am currently single and have no children. y favorite being Italy. I definitely enjoy wine, and love Napa, the North Fork of Long Island, Tuscany and Umbria. I also definitely enjoy eating, and consider myself to be a pretty good cook, with an extensive collection of cookbooks from my days at William Morrow. I am quite close with my 3 sisters, father and nephew. My Dad is currently 92. I love New York City, particularly all the life and diversity here, as well as the great friends I have made, not to mention the great restaurants, museums, music and theater. I am also very attracted to the ocean, and enjoy its close proximity. Coney Island is a blast. I love the Cyclone roller coaster, clams on the half shell and an icy cold beer, in that order. I enjoy a good joke, dinner with friends, and walks through the streets of New York.
