Gord's Story

Hello to anyone who might stumble through this post. I only went to Woburn for one year (71-72), so mostly I was thinking friends from Heather Heights might see this entry. I have not spoken with anyone from Woburn or Heather Heights in probably 35 years. I messaged back and forth with Sue Green a couple of times. She seems just as I remember her, quite friendly and happy. My memories are a little cloudy and I only remember myself as being very awkward and immature. In contrast, my memories of my friends are of really great people. All the best to Gil R., and Chuck P. and Glenn K. What are you guys doing today? What about Mark Douglas? Are you out there Mark? The best to you too! Gil, I think I remember one summer when we hung out all the time. I remember many games of Monopoly and wrestling and trying to choke each other unconscious. And going to swim in the Rouge valley with our clothes on, and then having to wait until they dried before we could go home. Stange way to spend the time, eh? Well it seemed like fun at the time. Glenn, I remember your dad took a bunch of us to Maple Leaf Gardens to watch a Jr. game. And you had a great party afte...Expand for more
r grade 8 grad, even though I was afraid of the girls. I remember Chuck's party well too, even though I was late. And Mark, what can I say. You had me do your paper route one time and I lost the addresses of your customers half way through the route. Sorry about that. I remember you got a lot of complaints. But I also remember you and Irwin attacking me with snowballs sometime later. Probably getting me back for losing your customers. What can I say. Just part of growing up I guess. Did you guys know that Cory did a TV commercial years ago for a watch company? "Cory Boiselle, Esquire". If you see this post Cory, I hope life has been great for you. You were a great guy. You were everyone¿s friend. Cindy, I think I remember coming to your house to play, many times when we were really young. Were you my girlfriend in grade 2 or 3? Do you remember? Maybe I'm wrong. I wish all the best to anyone taking the time to read this post. I would be very happy to hear from or about my friends through the classmate bulletin board or at my mail account, g_bennett2001 at hot mail dot com. All the best, most sincerely for the next 35 years. Gord Bennett
