G. Stuart's Story
Life
After ARC, I went to Duke Undergrad and Med school, meeting my wife to be, Mary Ann Lea. Smart lady, she refused to marry me until I had nearly finished med school, and had a job (internship). We went to DC for a year of residency at GWU hosp, then Public Health Service at NIH. Mary Ann had a very significant job with the NEA, for about 6 years. Then I went back to GWU for a combined residency in Medicine and Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine. cian, was born. We had a wonderful life, sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, and then horses with the daughters riding. Then, after 32 years of practice, we closed the Md practice, and moved to a promising program in NC. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its promise. I am now in Savannah, Ga., working with the military medical system, supporting the soldiers, both going over, and returning. This is the most satisfying period of my medical practice. Mary Ann is renewing her History major's interest in studying and directing tours of the marvelous homes in the city. We welcome contacts from all of our classmates and friends.
