What used to be a dead corner...where a 1foot wide by 7 feet tall (cheapo) CD/DVD rack was standing, has now a bar cabinet....Yay! The short doors at the bottom conceal firewood for our fireplace...that way you can have woo
I am normally a slob....so by making a place for everything...you force yourself into a state of order...I used brushed stainless handles on the cabinet.
I really wanted wines stored near where we eat, and to have them easy to view when choosing which one we will have for with the meal....
Full extension, 100 pound capacity drawers. You can store 13 bottles in each drawer. Concealed hinges for the doors.
I added some brushed stainless wine glass holder racks. There is room for 48 glasses.
Darkish lighting, with a very colorful mix of decorations.
I can't say it looks like anywhere I have been before...
Duck Breast with a. Dipping sauce and a side of diced mushrooms in a creamy sauce.
My dessert was a pear tart with a scoop of mango ice cream.
Regine got the Apple Crumble, also with a scoop of ice cream.
Regine's ex, Andreas, barbecuing and dancing to Greek music at a friend's house near ours...
Regine enjoying the food, wine and music as we tell stories, both old and new...
Everyone was in a mood to yack!....and they did!
Andreas' past girlfriend Nathalie. She is a chef and a very nice person!
Andreas tends to the barbecue...cooking the meats that he bough from an Arabic butcher in Marseille.
Regine...looking pretty happy and relaxed...
