Gabriel's Story
Life
Sence leaving highschool I have had quite a few adventures. There were many people that thought that I was going to be in the Air Force right out of school, including my self. I am thankful that did not occure. I went to Metro State when I graduated and started to work on my degree in Aviation Science. I was not happy with that and transferd to CSU. Which turred out to be quite a wild time for me. That is why I was only there for one semester. I then moved to Vail where I ran a program for Vavoline for about a year and a half. It was extreamly interesting living up there. Realising that I was not going forward with my life I came back to Denver and started back at Metro State. ion Management. During this time I became a Young life leader for the Niwot-Longmont area. I was also working as a fire fighter and flight instructor. I was able to be a part of the crew that was on the Hayman Fire. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I then signed up to become a Marine Corps Officer. This was between my Jounior and Senior years of college. I came out to beutiful Quantico VA and started my training. I made it through five weeks of training then I came home injured. It was one of the most disapointing things that has ever happened to me. It took about a year and a half to get back in, but I made it, and I am proud to say that I am a United States Marine Corps Officer. And in two weeks I am going to flight school. It is awsome.
